Why  People Come to Unity of Edmonton

Community - “When I found  Unity of Edmonton, it was like coming home". This is  an oft repeated sentiment expressed by many who have come  to Unity of Edmonton. We are a family of people from diverse  religious backgrounds and beliefs who value Unity of Edmonton's  inclusiveness and the joy, love and acceptance we share.

Celebration and Spiritual Education  - Our Sunday celebrations and special services include  prayer, music, meditation and lessons that enhance people’s lives by providing powerful tools for living the spiritual  life on a daily basis. As we awaken to our inherently divine  nature, we find ourselves more joyful, peaceful, affluent  and willing to be of service to one another as part of our  spiritual path.

Music - We are blessed with  a splendid "first choir" - the congregation. Occasionally members of the congregation come together  to rehearse special music to sing at our services mainly during  the Advent/Christmas season. As in all our activities, our  music is very inclusive and all are welcome to partake and  enjoy.

Sunday School - We provide Sunday  School for our youth which takes place during the regular  Sunday service. We acknowledge and celebrate the importance  of children and spiritual education to help them grow in love  and the ability to live fruitful and purposeful lives.

Classes/Workshops - Unity of  Edmonton also offers classes based on Unity Teachings as well  as occasional workshops presented by visiting ministers and  teachers. While our teachings are always based on Unity Principles,  we study contemporary works by a variety of authors and teachers  as well as the Unity classics.
